# Text-Based Stories on Hexus

**Overview**

Text-based stories simplify product storytelling, helping you create engaging, interactive content tailored to each segment of your audience.

On Hexus, text-based stories combine written content with interactive elements to deliver a dynamic experience.

**Hexus Tip:** Use the preview feature to view your story from the user’s perspective before publishing. Add notes on brand guidelines, formatting, messaging, and other key details to ensure your content flows naturally and delivers the intended impact.

**Creating Your First Story**

## **Creating Your First Story**

1. **Log in to Hexus**\
   Go to [app.usehexus.com](http://app.usehexus.com) and log in with your account credentials.
2. **Navigate to “Create Text Guide”**\
   From the dashboard, select the **Create Text Guide** option.
3. **Enter Prompt and Context**\
   Provide a clear prompt along with any relevant background information to improve content accuracy.
4. **Select a Content Format**\
   Choose the desired format for your story, such as:
   * Blog post
   * Product launch update
   * Newsletter
   * Social media post
5. **Add References to Existing Hexus Flows**\
   Link multiple Hexus flows to enrich the story with relevant information from existing guides.
6. **Create an Outline**\
   Click **Create Outline** to generate a structured overview of your content. Use the format switcher to preview different layout styles.
7. **Describe Your Audience**\
   Select relevant audience segments such as:
   * Business
   * Sales Leaders
   * Marketing
   * Customer Success
8. **Customize the Tone**\
   Choose a tone based on your target audience. Available options include:
   * Professional
   * Conversational
   * Data-driven
   * Informative
   * Educational
9. **Edit the Content Flow**\
   Rearrange or modify the content structure as needed.
10. **Create the Full Story**\
    Once the flow is finalized, click **Create Document** to generate the full draft.
11. **Review and Collaborate**\
    Edit the generated content as needed. Use the commenting feature to collaborate with team members.
12. **Save and Publish**\
    Drafts are saved automatically. To finalize your story, click **Publish** before sharing externally.
